When Our Community Wins, We Win

When we started Panic Monkey Storage, the idea was simple:

What if unused space could create opportunity for more than one person?

A homeowner may have an empty garage, shed, spare room, or other space that isn't being used.

A neighbor may need a convenient place nearby to store their belongings.

Panic Monkey Storage brings those two people together.

But from the beginning, we've wanted the impact of Panic Monkey Storage to extend beyond the people using our marketplace.

We want our success to help our community succeed, too.

Building More Than a Storage Marketplace

Panic Monkey Storage is being built here in North Carolina, and being a locally rooted company matters to us.

When someone rents storage through our marketplace, a local host has the opportunity to earn supplemental income from space they already have.

That means we're not simply creating another place to store things.

We're working toward an ecosystem where neighbors help neighbors, local families can create additional income, and more of the economic benefit stays within our communities.

And as Panic Monkey Storage grows, we want that circle of impact to grow with it.

Our Goal: Give Back 10% of Annual Net Profits

Our long term goal is to donate 10% of Panic Monkey Storage's annual net profits to local nonprofit organizations.

That distinction matters.

This isn't 10% of every transaction or revenue. It's a commitment tied to the success and profitability of the company.

As Panic Monkey Storage becomes profitable, we want a portion of those profits to support organizations doing meaningful work in the communities that helped us grow.

The Causes That Matter to Us

There are many organizations doing incredible work throughout southeastern North Carolina.

As we grow, we hope our giving can support causes such as food security, literacy and education, community needs, and opportunities and scholarships for young people.

We aren't interested in simply writing checks.

We want to build relationships with organizations creating measurable, lasting impact in our communities.

Why Build Giving Into the Business?

Because we believe businesses can do more than generate revenue.

Imagine what happens as a community powered marketplace grows.

A homeowner earns income from unused space.

A renter finds storage closer to home.

A local organization receives additional resources to serve families.

And the company connecting those people becomes stronger because the community around it becomes stronger.

That's the kind of business we want Panic Monkey Storage to become.

Success Means Something Bigger

We have ambitious goals for Panic Monkey Storage.

We want to grow.

We want hosts to make money.

We want renters to find great storage options.

We want to build a successful marketplace that can eventually serve communities well beyond coastal North Carolina.

But revenue alone won't be our only measure of success.

We want to be able to look back and see meals provided, children supported, educational opportunities created, and local organizations strengthened because Panic Monkey Storage succeeded.

That's a future worth building.

Store local. Earn local. Give local.

Because when our community wins, we win.

Be Part of the Panic Monkey Community

Whether you have extra space to share, need storage close to home, or simply believe in building businesses that strengthen their communities, we invite you to be part of what we're building.

Panic Monkey Storage. Neighbors helping neighbors.
